Create the Life You Want to Live

What is self-investment?

To me it means doing anything and everything within your means to improve yourself in all aspects of your life.

Attend college and acquire your degree or certifications? Self-investment. Washed your face and applied SPF? Self-investment, and a really good one too.

Essentially it is anything and everything that will give you a return on interest (ROI). I know it’s weird to think about it this way, but trust me it works.

Why is investing in yourself so important?

From current and on-going experience, you experience the best versions of yourself. Your self-confidence is going to sky-rocket in no time.

You will feel your feminine energy radiate through your body, and it will feel amazing. Others will notice this energy change as well.

Guide to Self-Investment:

Discipline is the first step. Without this as the foundation of any or all aspects of your life, the likelihood of succeeding isn’t going to be very high.

See your time as an investment. When you start doing that you will much rather spend your time doing something that will benefit you. And no, I’m not talking about monetizing your life.

Would you rather spend your Thursday night doom scrolling on your phone, because some guy you like hasn’t messaged you back? Or would you rather spend that same Thursday night trying a new hairstyle or painting your nails?

I don’t know about you but I would pick the latter, because now I’m looking cute and to me that is ROI.

Go for what you want, and not what you think you deserve.

Because now our time is precious and life is just getting better, by the day, I don’t have time to settle. Live the life you have always wanted through manifestation.

When I say manifestation, don’t just write something that you’ve been wanting 600 times on a piece of paper and expect magic to happen. I want you to create, and actually create the life you want to live.

Imagine you are playing SIMS and the mission is to create the most ideal world to your standards. Where would you live? What is your career? How are you dressed? What kind of car would you drive? How successful are you?

So now, it’s up to you to manifest. Are you just gonna talk about it or are you gonna be about it?

Keep a well-stocked Cookie Jar.

David Goggins describes the ‘Cookie Jar’ as a place he goes to when he needs the drive, not motivation, but the drive to push through.

I’m not sure what he says verbatim, but I remember it being along the lines of “Motivation will only get you so far, drive it what pushes everything out of the way that is trying to stop you.”

To build that drive you want to keep what you call a “Cookie Jar”. In this cookie jar you think the statement might look a little like “I want to look hot for the summer.“ or “I want this promotion so they can see how smart I am.”

Instead you will find statements that say “I spent 8 weeks in Texas heat working out non-stop in worse conditions than this, I can do this.” or even “If I can stay at a job that mentally drained me for 2 years of my life, this is cake.”

Drive is what is going to take you past further than you even imagined.

Guide to Self-Investment:

  1. Discipline
  2. Your time is an investment.
  3. Go for what you want, and not what you think you deserve.
  4. Keep a well stocked “Cookie Jar”

I hope this guide finds itself useful to a few of you out there. Remember, you are capable of creating and living the life of your dreams.
